Monday, October 5th, is the vote for CB-51 and we need to do a big final push! Here is how you can act to tell your elected officials to #SupportCB51 and end Howard County’s shameful cooperation with ICE:
- Call the Howard County Council on Monday at (410) 313-2001 to show your support for CB-51. Sign up here.
- Use JUFJ’s form to contact County Executive Ball and the Howard County Council to tell them to pass CB-51 in its strongest form.
- ACLU has a similar form. Fill it out as well to send a message to the Howard County Council Members to pass CB-51 and for County Executive Ball to sign it.
- Give your council member a shout out on social media to express your opposition to the county’s cooperation with ICE. For instance, tweet a picture of your yard sign in support of immigrants, tag your council member, and urge them to #SupportCB51.
