I am very happy to report that after months of coordinated work by 21 organizations that are members of the Howard County Coalition for Immigrant Justice, County Council Representative Elizabeth Walsh has filed CB51-2020 to end Howard County’s contract with ICE. Read the language of this legislation here:

I am enclosing some Talking Points to Support this bill. Please use them as you see fit. Here is how you can help:

1. Call and e-mail your county council representative and ask them to vote YES on CB51-2020. Go here to find your County Council Representative:
